Construction Assistant Project Manager Location: On-Site – Fort Lauderdale Courthouse About the Role: KEITH is seeking a Construction Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of construction projects at the Fort Lauderdale Courthouse. This role will work on-site, collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient project coordination, scheduling, and compliance with contract requirements. Key Responsibilities: + Assist the Project Manager in overseeing construction activities, ensuring work is completed on schedule and within budget. + Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams to maintain workflow and resolve any issues. + Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and maintain accurate documentation. + Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. + Support procurement efforts, including material tracking and inventory management. + Conduct site walks and inspections to verify work quality and adherence to contract requirements. + Assist in handling RFIs, change orders, and coordination with inspectors and courthouse representatives. + Facilitate communication between field teams and project stakeholders. Qualifications & Skills: + Construction project management or field experience. + Experience working on commercial or government projects is preferred. + Knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and documentation. + Strong understanding of job site logistics, permitting, and subcontractor coordination. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans. + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Familiarity with OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and contract compliance. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with Procore or other construction management software is a plus. + Strong communication and organizational skills.
