he Business Development Manager is responsible for the firm's visibility and engagement within emerging and advanced technologies such as semi-conductors, electric vehicles, synthetic materials, batteries, and data centers. This role defines and supports long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and execution of a business development planProspecting of new clients and furthering/servicing relationships with existing clientsAttendance at industry events and participation in industry organizationsManagement of contacts and leads through a CRM systemLead the development of proposals including creation of the proposal approach, development of the proposal schedule, assignment of duties, and management of production, coordinating with key staff in marketing, estimating, and operationsExcel in a collaborative, team environment where every voice mattersLeads support generation of a Business Development Plan for responsible areasIdentifies potential clients by researching and building relationships with new clientsMaintain CRM data set including leads, opportunities, contacts, companies, and competitorsSets up meetings between client decision-makers and the company’s practice leadersEssential SkillsMinimum 5 years’ experience in a target industry, with 10+ years preferredEstablished relationships within a target industry with understanding of client’s needs and solutions to those needsBS in engineering, construction, construction management or equivalent work experienceProficiency in Microsoft software including WordExperience using CRM system, such as Microsoft Dynamics, preferred but not requiredRecruiter: Eisen Hardy - 614/551/9192 - 'ehardy@actalentservices.com'Pay and Benefits
