How can you leave your mark?
We are looking for a Construction Coordinator who is responsible for coordinating and supervising the construction activities of industrial production facilities during the delivery phase of the project, from the initial mobilization through to the final handover for commissioning.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES
During the delivery phase, directly oversee the construction activities related to civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation scopes.
Ensure that the works are executed in accordance with EPC contractual documentation, schedule, Company procedures and plans
Directly follow up the construction activities, monitor the progress from the prefabrication until the commissioning phase and control the quality of the works by performing daily visit at site and/or at the sub-contractors fabrication shops
Provide assistance to the Project manager and Project engineer reviewing the construction documentation submitted by the Contractors (Approved for construction drawings such as ISOs, P&IDs, Construction procedures/method statements, execution plan and schedule)
Interface with engineering and procurement department to ensure on-time delivery of documentation and material in order to allow timely execution of the works
Participate to quality inspections at site according to the project ITPs, making sure that the construction quality plan and relevant Inspection Test Plans are implemented and the relevant quality control reports are issued
Provide technical construction assistance to the Project management team for timely resolution of technical construction issues and quality anomalies/non conformity arisen at site
Perform mechanical completion walk down for multidisciplinary activities in order to raise punch items. Directly manage and follow up the punches status till their closure. Make sure that mechanical completion is achieved on time, with no punch items affecting the commissioning and ready for start-up activities
Participate to the Project start up Safety review (PSSR) and Ready to operating review (RTOR)
Interface with the site HSE management team for a safe delivery of the work.
Make sure that HSEQ plan and site requirements are implemented, coactivities and relevant risks are identified and mitigated
Coordinate with Plant Production Manager and Contractor to allow a smooth execution of the works avoiding any critical simultaneous operation
Participate to HSE Coordination meeting
Organize and Lead construction coordination meetings with the EPC Contractor and participate to projects’ meetings as required
On daily/weekly base (as required), report the status of the constructio activities to the Project management team highlighting any critical interface issues and proposing corrective actions if required
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
Minimum 5 years experience in multidisciplinary construction coordination activities
Extensive experience in construction supervisory activities mainly for piping and mechanical work packages
Knowledge of industrial and/or Oil & gas plants
Knowledge of construction prefabrication, erection, pre-commissioning methodologies and processes
Knowledge of quality controls during construction
Knowledge of HSE risks during construction
Knowledge of French norms and regulations about site construction works and safety
Knowledge of Permit to works procedures
Conversant with industrial plant standards (e.g. API, ASME, PED, etc…)
QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent
Fluent in French and English
