As a Construction Coordinator III, you will be responsible for managing multiple, complex, large fiber small business (SMB) and enterprise construction projects. You will also coordinate advanced projects that repair, maintain, or build Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) and Fiber to the home (FTTH) architectures. Your work will be the growth engine of our company and extend our network to new customers every day.

You will also be mentoring new Construction Coordinators on how to walkout, design, engineer, fund, permit and construct projects in an informal and advisory manner.

Required Qualifications
Experience: Construction Coordinator II or equivalent work experience of at least one yearEducation: High school diplomaIndustry and vendor specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E)Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving recordCompleted courses on NCTI Fiber Installation & Activation, NCTI Fiber Testing and Maintenance or, certification as a SCTE Broadband Transportation SpecialistKnowledge of company products and services Knowledge of basic mathematics and electronicsKnowledge of National Electric Code and National Electrical Safety CodeKnowledge of Microsoft OfficeTechnical Skills: Able to use hand toolsAbilities: Able to read, write and speak the EnglishAble to use the following hand tools: electric drills, hammers, wrenches, screwdriversAbility to walk over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather while carrying tools and equipment, including gaffs, ladders, and fully loaded tool beltsAble to accurately measure distances using tapes or other measuring devicesAble to carry, climb and oeprate extension ladder (approx 32 ft. high and 90 pounds)Able to climb poles using gaffs, hooks and climbing belt as neededAble to read general system layouts for blueprintsAble to operate appropriate test equipment (signal level meters, ohm meters, etc.)Able to perform job from high places (i.e. poles and roofs)Able to work while 50-70% of the timeAble to work with small components and wires to make cable connectionsAble to use handled communication devices and applicationsAble to dig in all types of soilAble to drive Company vehicle in a safe and responsible mannerAble to operate machinery for underground and overhead cable installationAble to work in inclement weather conditionsAble to proritize and organize effectivelyAble to use personal computer, mobile, and software applicationsAble to make cable connections in tight spaces by bending/reaching/twisting, and safely use weight-bearing equipmentSkills: Able to work independently, highly organized, strong communicationSchedule: Able to work all hours and shifts as business needs dictate
