Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities: Work with the Engineering and Construction Documentation teams to produce accurate and complete Structural Construction Documents. Shepherd projects from the Preconstruction phase to Production, including 3D modeling and 2D drafting. This role will be based in our Walpole, NH office, with potential for occasional travel to jobsites. This entails: + Interpret structural models and calculations, specifications, and sketches + Produce clear, accurate, and thorough construction drawings, including foundation plans, framing plans, details and specifications + Prepare the 3D model for production, including modeling structural members and hardware, in accordance with company systems and processes + Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, and Engineers, both internally and externally + Coordinate ordering of materials including timbers, custom steel, and trusses Skills and experience required: + Read and produce technical drawings, including plans, sections, and details + Understand engineering data, reports, and sketches + Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD/BIM software (Revit® or Cadwork®) preferred + Computer literacy with ability to work in all Microsoft applications + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree related to architecture/engineering/construction preferred but not required + Hands-on construction experience preferred but not required Additional attributes of success: + Close attention to detail + Process and system oriented + Clear written and verbal communication skills + Positive, can-do team player with strong problem-solving skills + Strong work ethic with the ability to: + Complete assignments accurately + Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines + Work independently and collaboratively within a team setting + Take on other responsibilities as assigned + Receive and implement feedback and constructive criticism Compensation & Benefits Compensation and exact title for this position will be based on skill level and experience.
