Tetra Tech needs an Electrical Engineer in Kigali, Rwanda for multi-structure energy upgrade construction project on US Embassy Compound for State Department Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). Requires a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance.
 

The Project

Multi-structure Energy Upgrade Project that includes significant amounts of solar photovoltaic systems.

Assignment is expected to last 12 months. Housing and transportation allowances provided. Uplift includes 15% of base salary. Benefits (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, paid round trip flights home)​​​

Position Description

Provide project with full range of critical engineering and construction management oversight. Perform technical inspections of electrical work, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance. Observe on-site construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly. Monitor construction progress with regard to project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.

Requirements

US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher US Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering OR Current US PE license can substitute for degree 7 years construction experience ABET accredited (not equivalent) international degree accepted in lieu of US Bachelor’s or US PE
