Construction Electrical Inspector Ashgabat Turkmenistan State Department US Embassy Secret Clearance Required

MSI, A Tetra Tech Company, needs an Electrical Inspector in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan for construction of New US Embassy Compound (NEC) with State Department Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). This is a live position that will deploy in August/September, not a proposal. Requires a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance.
 

The Project

$120M 17 Acre New US Embassy Compound (NEC) Construction Project in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan The new construction includes: 6-story NOB (New Office Building) 2 CACs (Compound Access Control Facilities) Site Development We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 year, but 48 months are available if you want them. Housing and transportation allowances provided. Uplift includes 25% of base salary, plus 25% COLA. Benefits (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, paid round trip flights home)​​​

Position Description

Provide project with full range of critical engineering and construction management oversight. Perform technical inspections of electrical work, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance. Observe on-site construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly. Monitor construction progress with regard to project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.

Requirements

US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher US Associates Degree or higher in any discipline OR an international electrical engineering degree 7 years construction experience
