**Job Description**
This position provides class and laboratory support to students and faculty in the electrician construction diploma technical program. Assistance includes student supervision & monitoring, promoting safe behaviors, preparing instructions and materials used during laboratory demonstrations, tutoring, and supplementing regular faculty instruction.
**Minimum Qualifications**
Post-secondary or industry certificate/diploma/degree or relevant licensure in construction electrician OR
6 months teaching/tutoring in construction electrician at the high school level or above OR
2 years' work in construction electrician - no degree/certificate required OR
an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
**Preferred Qualification**
+ Lead-work experience in construction, maintenance, electrical, or mechanical position where safety standards are required and practiced.
+ Bilingual/multilingual fluent in Spanish, Somali, Karen, Anuak, Nuer, or other languages that reflect our student body, workforce, and communities.
+ Demonstrated experience working with multicultural and underserved populations.
