Construction Engineer

The Construction Engineer will be responsible for assisting the Construction Project Leader in overseeing all aspects of the construction project.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Assist Project Leader with construction management duties.

·       Ensure that construction conforms to the specifications, plans, and special provisions.

·       Verify appropriate materials are being used with appropriate documentation.

·       Perform construction inspection duties as needed.

·       Assist with materials testing, take measurements, and record work quantities.

·       Assist with basic survey duties on construction projects.

·       Assist Engineers and Technicians with tasks associated with multi disciplined projects.

·       Perform engineering calculations and assist with project documentation.

·       Work cooperatively with other project managers, engineers, technicians, and contractors.

·       Review and assist with in-house design plan development, as needed.

Must Have:

·       Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

·       Minimum of 0 - 5 years of related experience.

·       Familiarity with WisDOT and local agency procedures for design and construction.

·       WisDOT Highway Technician Certification Program (HTCP) certifications or ability to obtain desirable.

·       Valid driver's license.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
