**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Construction Engineer (Demolition)** to join our team! In this role you will get to **p** **erfor** **m a variety of engineering duties by applying basic engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline.**
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Assist in site inspections to assess structures and identify hazards.
+ Support in planning safe and efficient demolition methods.
+ Help conduct structural analysis to determine the best demolition techniques.
+ Monitor site preparation, including fencing, barricades, and safety measures.
+ Oversee the removal of debris, hazardous materials, and waste disposal.
+ Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal regulations.
+ Assist in coordinating with contractors, heavy equipment operators, and site workers.
+ Track material recycling and disposal processes in line with sustainability guidelines.
+ Maintain daily site reports, progress logs, and safety checklists.
+ Identify potential risks and report them to senior engineers.
+ Gain hands-on experience with demolition equipment such as excavators, wrecking balls, and cutting tools.
+ Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and demolition technologies.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited university/institution is required.
+ 5+ years of experience on a infrastructure project with demolition experience is required.
+ Basic understanding of load-bearing structures, stress analysis, and material properties.
+ Knowledge of demolition techniques such as deconstruction, implosion, and mechanical demolition.
+ Basic knowledge of demolition tools like excavators, wrecking balls, bulldozers, and cutting tools.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English is required.
