We are seeking a seasoned Construction Engineer with 7 to 10 years of experience for an Undetermined Duration Contract role based in Belgium. This role is within our esteemed client, Amaris Consulting. The successful candidate will be a key player in supporting and applying the Project Health and Safety policy and procedures to achieve Zero Harm, among other responsibilities.

Actively support and apply the Project Health and Safety policy and procedures to achieve Zero Harm.

Assist the site construction manager in performing overall Quality control, supervision, planning follow-up, reporting, advising and troubleshooting for activities related to its domain.

Perform daily site Inspection.

Support the organization of construction and commissioning activities on the domain by supporting the site construction manager.

Support site construction manager in performing preventive risk analysis approach and perform main controls to be performed based on the risk analysis and its experience.

Support in verification of the QC documents.

Provide input to the Site construction manager for the Daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for Construction activities.

Take part in daily coordination meetings with the contractors.

Assist the Site construction manager in monitoring of the Project schedule / Progress on the field by giving precise insights on the piping and mechanical activities advancement.

Support the coordination with engineers, designers, and coordinating meetings with consultants & contractors.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned Construction Engineer with a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes. You are a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment.

Proven experience in supporting site construction managers in various tasks including quality control, supervision, planning, reporting, advising, and troubleshooting.

Ability to perform preventive risk analysis and main controls based on the risk analysis and your experience.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of stakeholders.
