The Construction Project Leader will be responsible for serving as the on-site client representative, overseeing all aspects of the construction project..
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage projects to ensure that project deliverables and budgets are met.
· Ensure that construction conforms to the specifications, plans, and special provisions.
· Verify appropriate materials are being used and with appropriate documentation.
· Research and resolve problems in the field.
· Perform construction inspection duties as needed.
· Assist with field survey activities, as needed.
· Work cooperatively with other project managers, engineers, technicians, and contractors.
· Attend and participate in meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, and the public.
· Provide technical support, oversight, and leadership to assigned project staff.
· Perform business development for company's services.
· Review and assist in-house design plan development as needed.

Must Have:
· Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
· Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
· Familiarity with WisDOT and local agency procedures for design and construction.
· Experience successfully delivering construction projects in leading role.
· WisDOT Highway Technician Certification Program (HTCP) certifications desirable.
· Valid driver's license.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
