In this position, you will be inspecting interstate grading, paving, and new bridge construction. Inspection will include materials testing, performing measurements, tracking daily project activity, coordinating with contractors, and many other duties. You will report to the I-35 expansion project between Ankeny and Ames and will be assisting the lead project inspector. This opportunity will provide students with very good experience in major highway construction.
