Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Construction Engineering Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Facilities Construction and Engineering Organization. This leadership role is located in Clearfield, Utah.

In this role you will manage a team of construction project managers to include, but not limited to reviewing/assigning incoming department requests, cost estimate and schedule reviews, contractor workforce management, and team coordination with other departments.

Essential Responsibilities:

Plans, designs, and oversees the construction of new or expanded facilitiesPrepares architectural and engineering cost estimates and schedulesObtains and supervises outside contractorsRecommends architectural and engineering design procedures and standards for the planning and design of facilitiesCoordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawingsPrepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costsSupervises the detailed design, budgetary costing, standardized construction, and final inspection of facility projectsInspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedulesSupport sustainability efforts within the division

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) discipline and 7 Years of related experience; or a Master's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) discipline and 5 Years of related experienceRelated experience to include Cost estimating, design, and/or construction managementPrior facilities related or construction experienceStrong communication skills (verbal and visual)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications to include strong working knowledge of Microsoft ProjectExperience building to ICD 705 security standardsAbility to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Security ClearanceAbility to obtain and maintain special program access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the needs of the businessPrior experience leading people or projects

Preferred Qualifications:

Active DoD Secret Security ClearanceFacilities experience in the aerospace and defense industryExperience with CAD/Revit

Salary Range: $119,300.00 - $178,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
