PER-DIEM/TEMPORARY POSITION, HOURLY EMPLOYEE + Provide adults with hands-on skills that pertain to the Heavy Equipment Program + Prepare students to work within a construction or heavy equipment setting + Experience with Heavy Equipment is preferred + Ability to handle heavy lifting and willingness to work outdoors is required + Experience, willingness, and ability to work with secondary students in both classroom, various hands-on settings and job site settings + Have background in agriculture, farming, natural resources and/or construction + Have experience in the following: forestry, chainsaw, surveying, aquaculture, natural resources, greenhouse production + Keep current with changes and developments in the field + Communicate regularly with the students + Maintain discipline on the road and campus + Perform other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Valid NYS Driver's License Knowledge/Skill: Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of safe truck driving and all the laws and regulations covering heavy equipment operations.
