Construction Equipment Specialist

LCRA Internal Construction is looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator to join us in substation construction civil projects, frequently in a high-voltage environment, throughout the LCRA service territory!

You will be trusted to:

- Uses heavy equipment to clear and prepare ground for construction sites
- Ensures equipment is maintained and in optimum working condition
- Interprets and follows all safety policies and procedures
- Operates equipment as assigned for construction projects
- Works in close proximity to energized high-voltage electrical equipment

You qualify with:

- Three or more years of experience in operating large equipment, such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, cranes, tractor trailers, farm equipment or other machinery, with at least two years of experience operating large equipment to obtain results that comply with approved engineering drawings and specifications.
- Class A Texas commercial driver’s license
