Position Overview:

A construction estimator is responsible for analyzing construction plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects. They must have a strong understanding of construction processes and materials, as well as experience in bidding and managing projects. The ideal candidate will also have experience in healthcare, higher-education, K-12, and Commercial construction projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Review construction plans and specifications to accurately estimate project costsCollaborate with project managers and contractors to determine project scope and requirementsPrepare and submit bids for construction projectsConduct site visits to gather information and assess project needsAnalyze and compare subcontractor and supplier bids, negotiating to obtain the best prices and servicesCreate and maintain project budgets and schedulesMonitor and track project costs and expensesCommunicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team membersProvide expertise and guidance on cost-saving measures and value engineering solutions

 

Qualifications:
