Construction Estimator:

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and managing cost estimates for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specificationsConduct thorough cost analysis to develop accurate project estimatesCollaborate with project managers to determine project scopes and budgetsPrepare and present comprehensive bid packages to clients and stakeholdersNegotiate contracts and pricing with subcontractors and suppliersReview contracts and provide technical support during the construction processEnsure all estimates comply with local building codes and standardsMaintain accurate records of estimates, revisions, and communicationsWork closely with project teams to facilitate effective communication and teamworkUtilize Microsoft Office and other software tools for documentation and reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar roleStrong skills in quantity take-offs and cost analysisFamiliarity with construction estimating software and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of local building codes and regulationsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentDetail-oriented with strong analytical skillsExperience with project scheduling and budgeting is a plus
