Construction Field Office Technician
**This Opportunity** WSP is currently initiating a search for a part-time **Construction Field Office Technician** for our **Tempe, Arizona** office. Be involved in projects with our Construction Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Your Impact + Working closely with project Resident Engineers on correspondence tracking + Document Control and Record keeping + Daily interaction with staff inspectors and managers. + Interaction with clients and responding to inquiries + Reviewing staff daily diaries and back checking of quantities. + Read and interpret project plans and specifications, with focus on line item payment requirements. + Familiar with payroll monitoring reporting and oversight for compliance with federal requirements (Davis-Bacon, DBE Reporting and sub contract approvals) + Familiar with contractor pay requests and supplemental agreements (change orders) + Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. + Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs \#LI-TD1 Who You Are **Required Qualifications** + 5 years of administrative experience + High School graduate or GED + Basic math understanding and skills + Communication skills (written and verbal), interacting with clients, inspectors and contractors + Basic computer skills (word, Excel, etc.) + Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies **Preferred Qualifications** + 7 years of Experience in the Transportation Construction Industry + Familiar with ADOT Construction Manual and general procedures **About WSP** WSP USA is the U.S. operating company of WSP, one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
