**Assistant Project Manager - Chambersburg, PA** **Training included (if needed: for the right individual)** **Job Description** We are looking for a highly skilled Assistant Project Manager to oversee complex projects from estimating to final completion. *The ideal candidate will manage multiple detailers, products, and vendors while ensuring safety procedures are followed on job sites. **Responsibilities** + Manage complex projects with multiple detailers, products, and vendors from estimating to final completion. + Oversee safety procedures on the job site. + Review contract documents/drawings and coordinate detailing efforts to supply products and services in the most cost-effective and efficient manner. + Provide total contract management of each project assigned, including coordination of detailing, scheduling, delivery, and costs of products and services. + Coordinate project requirements with the contractor's representative, rebar installer, engineer, and/or architect. + Schedule the detailing and delivery of required products and services with the contractor and detailers. + Review project changes to determine their scope, ensure accuracy, and process appropriate documentation in accordance with change order procedures. + Assist in the change order process culminating in the acceptance of the change order by the customer. + Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to appropriate staff, workers, and customers. + Represent the company in project meetings as needed. + Work with detailing to help control the financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interest while maintaining good customer relationships. + Formulate reports concerning work progress, costs, and scheduling. + Perform other duties as requested by the management. **Essential Skills** + Rebar + Blueprint reading + Project coordination + Construction + Materials management + Customer service + Construction management + Project Management **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Contract management + Inventory management + Managing sub-contractors + Mathematics + Hand tool usage + Microsoft Excel + CAD software + QuickBooks **Why Work Here?** Join a small family-owned business that offers good pay, chances for bonuses, and excellent benefits.
