What You Will Do

 

Gannett Fleming is looking for Construction Inspectors to support our growing team of Professionals in the New Jersey area. 

 

Responsibilities

Must perform all testing/inspections in a timely manner and adhere to Gannett Flemings Quality Management Protocols (QMP)Complete daily inspection reports on a daily basisRepresent the client and Gannett Fleming interests in a professional manner and appearanceBe onsite during contractor work activitiesReport and take directions from the Resident EngineerEducation | Experience:

High School DiplomaNICET Highway Construction Inspection Level 2, 3 or 4
or 4-12 years road/bridge construction inspection experienceExperience with NJDOT and NJ Turnpike Authority preferredRutgers CAIT Traffic Control Coordinator certificationACI Concrete Field Testing Technician certificationNJSAT HMA Asphalt Technologist certificationNJ Chapter ACI Concrete Construction Technology Course is desirableMust understand comprehensive construction drawings, standard specifications and Shop Drawing submittalsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComputer literate including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and WindowsAbility to travel and work flexible schedules including overtimeMust be physically capable and willing to work outdoors, maneuver difficult terrain and pass a medical evaluationMaintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to, from and around project locationsCompany Overview:
