Come join us! **Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Daily document work progress + Prepare monthly progress payment request, track various changes, verify time and material work, measure and document job quantities + Have basic computer skills + Independent worker to set priorities/work effectively and to make decisions with minimal supervision + Deal effectively with stakeholders, contractors, construction workers, the public + Candidate must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times + Have a thorough knowledge of the methods, materials and techniques of their trade + Have the ability to inspect their trade in a wide variety of improvements to ensure compliance to project plans/specifications + Have the ability to diagnose violations and hazards in new and existing installations and take a proactive approach during construction **Minimum Requirements:** + High School diploma (or equivalent) or better + 30-hour Cal OSHA training prior to assignment, and received within the last 4 years, required + ICC Certification, required + Valid LADBS License (preferred) + Have a thorough knowledge of building construction practices + Proof of NFPE-70E standards, with completion achieved within the past three years (preferred) + Minimum three years' experience in one, or more of the following areas: (preferably in large scale and/or airfield projects): Construction Inspection, Deputy Buidling Inspection, Electrical/IT Inspection, Mechanical Inspection, Plumbing Inspection **Compensation:** $50-$85 hourly The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law.
