Gannett Fleming invites you to join our team as a Construction Inspector for roadway paving projects in the beautiful state of Connecticut!
As a Construction Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the completion of roadway paving projects throughout Connecticut. Your expertise is important in contributing to projects that enhance transportation infrastructure, providing safer and smoother journeys for the residents of the state.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Interface with the Resident Engineer/Chief Inspector all facets of the projectPerform daily construction inspection of work activities.Complete daily reports, quantity calculations, and reports for construction work observed.Education | Experience:Minimum Qualifications
Minimum BS - Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management programs or NICET- Certified in Transportation Construction Inspection (TCI) Level 2 or higher requiredPreferred certifications ACI level 1, NETTCP CI, NETTCP HMAPI, and ATSSA-TCS certificates are highly desirable2-5 years’ experience as a construction inspector working on CONNDOT paving projects.Experience with pavement preservation projects preferredMust have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving recordMust be physically capable and willing to work outdoors and climb bridge superstructuresMust have the ability to work efficiently with little supervisionThis position requires travel and varied working hoursCompany Overview:At Gannett Fleming, we believe in improving the lives of the people we serve.
