Job Title: Jr. Estimator Job Description We are looking to add a Jr. Estimator to our Estimating team. This position will support the estimating team with take-offs and bids for our restoration projects, which include traffic coatings, moisture barriers, and concrete sealing. The types of facilities involved include Parking Garages, Plazas, and High Rises. Responsibilities + Support the estimating team with take-offs and bids for restoration projects. + Attend pre-bid meetings and meet with clients and vendors. + Work in Excel to create estimates and pricing for projects. + Read and interpret project drawings. + Handle RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Essential Skills + Experience with estimation, construction, and bidding processes. + Knowledge of construction management and estimating software. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents. + Proficiency in Excel, Adobe, and Bluebeam. + Experience in commercial construction estimating and cost proposals. + Ability to handle RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Construction Management (CM) or related field. (preferred but not required) + At least 1 year of experience in a project support capacity. + Experience from a contractor's estimating team is preferred. Work Environment You will be working both in the office putting bid packages together and out in the field on site walks.
