Job Title: Construction Labor Technician
Job Description

We are seeking 3-5 semi-skilled laborers to assist with a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) project in Mt. Holly. This job will last a minimum of one year, with potential for long-term employment. We are looking for reliable laborers who can be trained to become valuable assets to our team.

ResponsibilitiesHelp keep the construction site clean.Assist pipe layers with cutting and placing materials on the job site.Excavate trenches and position and align pipes.Assemble joints and backfill trenches.Use hand tools and read grade stakes.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year of construction experience.Ability to use hand tools.Ability to read grade stakes.Mechanical mindset.Willingness and desire to learn.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic knowledge of the construction process.Experience with pipe laying or heavy equipment operation (HEO).Experience with power tools, concrete, and carpentry.Why Work Here

Work Environment

The job is in an open-air construction environment near an existing WWTP, which may occasionally have an odor depending on wind direction. However, work will be conducted on a new portion of the plant, not the current one.

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $28.00/hr.
