These are full-time, well-paying positions with competitive benefits! Start building the foundation for a successful career in construction as a Construction Laborer. Construction Laborer Role Overview: Often required to work in the great outdoors, a general laborer needs physical strength, endurance and brains. You’ll be shoveling dirt, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and lending a hand wherever is necessary to help see the job to completion. Also get ready to run small equipment as part of your job. If you’re hardworking, dependable, able to follow safety rules and work with a positive attitude, this is the job for you. Once you prove yourself in this position, move up to higher pay and more responsibility as a skilled laborer. Assist experienced foremen and other tradespeople with tasks that involve preparation and cleaning of construction sites, operation of power tools, and loading/unloading of materials or equipment. Learn how to operate construction equipment under the guidance of skilled mentors; enhance your knowledge in various skilled trade specialties. Demonstrate best safety practices while working at heights, moving road materials/barricades, lifting various objects up to 50lbs, and working in all weather elements.​​​​​​ Construction Laborer Job Requirements: Member companies each have their own unique requirements based on their policies.
