**Job Title: Construction Laborer**
**Job Description**
The construction laborer will work from 7am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime based on project needs. The role involves performing general labor tasks such as demolition, loading/unloading, digging, and clean-up to support daily operations at a construction site. The primary goal is to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient construction site while aiding the overall project.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform general labor tasks including demolition, loading/unloading, digging, and clean-up.
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient construction site.
+ Support daily operations and overall project requirements.
+ Use various power tools and small machinery safely and effectively.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years' experience in a commercial or large residential job setting.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, concrete, carpentry, and forklift.
+ Ability to speak about safety precautions in a construction environment.
+ Possession of OSHA 10 certification.
+ Knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, scissor lift, and scaffolding.
+ Experience with loading, lifting, tape measure, hammer, and saw.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with field concepts, practices, and procedures.
+ Good interpersonal skills and team spirit.
+ Ability to perform construction activities safely and efficiently.
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
+ Strong reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
+ Ability to pass back check, drug screen, physical capacity profile, and E-Verify.
+ Reliable transportation to and from work.

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes regular exposure to outside weather conditions and frequent proximity to moving mechanical parts. Occasionally, the work involves high, precarious places and exposure to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level is usually moderate. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, Kansas.
