**Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer to join our team for a 3-4 month project based in Rhode Island. The successful candidate will assist Technicians, Welders, and Fabricators in managing structures and fixtures within a large warehouse facility. This role involves the assembly, disassembly, and storage of structures used to support parts of submarines and boats. **Responsibilities** + Assist Technicians, Welders, and Fabricators by moving materials around the facility. + Help in the building and breaking down of structures. + Use hand tools and impact guns to screw bolts and erect mezzanine scaffolding. + Follow instructions from the lead to assemble necessary components. + Perform minimal blueprint reading, relying mainly on verbal instructions. **Essential Skills** + Experience with general labor and facilities maintenance. + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. + Basic material handling skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with assembling structures using hand and power tools. **Why Work Here?** This company has a long-term contract with Electric Boat (EB) and consistently has projects requiring support roles like this one.
