Job Title: Labor Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and eager Labor Technician with at least 6 months of construction experience or relevant high school trade classes. The project involves jobsite cleanup, moving materials, and prepping the jobsite in downtown Des Moines. Candidates must be able to operate hand and power tools and read a tape measure. This is an 8-10 week project with the potential for longer-term employment based on performance.

Our office is located in downtown Des Moines, and we are building a self-perform non-union crew specializing in commercial construction, including schools, offices, retail, and other commercial projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and grow within the company.

Work Environment

The work environment includes various commercial settings such as schools, offices, and retail spaces. The standard work hours are from 7:00 AM to 5/6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for Saturday work. Candidates should be prepared to work 60 hours a week on some occasions. The dress code includes jeans, boots, and a t-shirt or sweatshirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00
