Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description

The contractor will assist in the remodeling of trailers used on construction sites, schools, and for disaster relief. This position requires flexibility with job functions and a willingness to get hands-on. Tasks include cleaning returned trailers, replacing windows, AC units, sheet metal, tile, wood panels, lights, door knobs, doors, and plumbing for sinks and toilets. Additional duties include painting the interior and exterior of the trailers and performing general maintenance around the facility, such as cleaning the shop, office, and grounds. Applicants must be flexible with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.

ResponsibilitiesClean trailers returned from sites.Replace windows, AC units, sheet metal, tile, wood panels, lights, door knobs, and doors.Perform plumbing tasks for sinks and toilets.Paint the interior and exterior of trailers, including wood panels, bumpers, hitches, and wheels.Conduct general maintenance around the facility, including cleaning the shop, office, and grounds.Set up trailers with furniture based on customer preferences, including desks, chairs, TVs, and coffee stations.Use carpentry tools and read a tape measure.Perform framing, door hanging, and light plumbing.Install vinyl flooring or carpet squares.Repair trim, wood, and paint touch-up spots.Essential SkillsExperience using hand tools and power tools.2-3 years of construction or manual labor experience.Ability to work with minimal guidance.Good soft skills and teamwork capability.Willingness to have varied daily tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsRemodeling or carpentry experience preferred.Experience from a cleaning company is advantageous.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The bulk of the work will be done outside, with some tasks inside trailers. Conditions will vary based on the weather, being cold in winter and hot in summer. The main office trailer is equipped with heating and air conditioning. The role requires physical activity, including cleaning and repairing components on hands and knees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50
