The Construction Leader will oversee Marsh Thailand’s construction insurance practice, managing a team of specialists and driving growth across infrastructure, real estate development, and engineering projects. This role involves strategic client advisory, complex risk placement, and market engagement to support major construction projects.
We will count on you to:
Lead the construction insurance practice, setting strategy and driving business growth.
Manage relationships with key construction clients, including developers, contractors, and project owners.
Structure and place insurance programs for large-scale construction projects, including CAR (Contractors’ All Risks), EAR (Erection All Risks), DSU (Delay in Start-Up), and liability coverage.
Develop new business opportunities by identifying emerging risks in the Thai construction market.
Work closely with Marsh’s regional and global construction teams to bring innovative solutions to clients.
Maintain strong relationships with insurers and reinsurers to secure capacity and competitive terms.
Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering technical and commercial excellence.
Ensure all placements comply with Marsh’s internal policies and regulatory requirements.
What you need to have:
10+ years of experience in insurance broking or underwriting, with a strong focus on construction and engineering risks.
Proven track record of handling large, complex construction accounts.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
Excellent market relationships with insurers, reinsurers, and industry stakeholders.
Deep understanding of project financing, contract risk allocation, and insurance requirements for large infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in English and Thai
