Construction Life Safety Systems Manager - Data Center - Phoenix, AZ
This role will manage Life Safety Systems on a Data Center Construction project. Will be involved with Gas monitoring and detection along  with Life Safety, Fire Alarm Systems, Security Systems, CCTV, etc. PMs should have previous experience and qualifications as it pertains to Life Safety / OSHA and certifications.

Responsibilities:Implement construction safety standards and practices including but not limited to; safety management systems, training, risk assessments and applicable safety regulationsExperience managing high-risk activities including electrical safety, excavation, fall protection, material handling and crane operationsA background working with specific trades such as electricians, ironworkers, pipefitters, etc. and understanding the complexities of multi-employer worksitesComfortable communicating and problem solving with sub-contractors and experience training on construction safety topics with a wide variety of trades is requiredConduct safety audits of active construction sites to ensure compliance with safety requirements as well as life safety requirementsMaintain adequate safety record keeping and data integrityConsult and partner with the internal compliance team for interpretations and guidanceSupporting incident investigations and root cause analysis, so that corrective and preventive actions can be identified, communicated globally, and implementedWork with leaders, staff, and contractors at all levels to implement effective solutionsQualifications:Specific areas of technical and Project Management Focus: Gas monitoring ; Gas Detection, Fire Control Systems ; Security Systems  (CCTV), etc a MUSTBachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Construction Management, or Engineering a huge plus Experienced tradesperson with past safety responsibilities will also be consideredA minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in EHS in the construction industry, preferably with data center construction or large projectsMust have current working knowledge of U.S Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and standards and other non-regulatory safety standards applicable to the locationMust have working knowledge of 29 CFR1926. Knowledgeable with NFPA 70e and environmental compliance is a plusExperience conducting incident investigations and can follow reporting processes
