Managing Architectural Packages/Contracts: overseeing architectural contracts for large-scale projects, particularly in the life sciences sector. Contract Management: Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts with architects, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure that terms, deliverables, and timelines align with project goals. Scope Control: Monitor architectural packages to ensure they match project requirements. Address any scope changes or deviations promptly. Budget Adherence: Track costs associated with architectural work, including design fees, permits, and materials. Collaborate with the finance team to manage expenses. Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks related to architectural contracts, such as delays, design conflicts, or regulatory issues. Updating and Reviewing Bluebeam : Document Control: Regularly update the master set of architectural drawings using Bluebeam. Incorporate contractor redlines, design revisions, and as-built changes. Accuracy Assurance: Verify that redlines accurately reflect on-site modifications. Collaborate with contractors to resolve discrepancies and maintain an accurate record. Coordinating Walkdowns: Walkdowns are critical for quality control and progress assessment. Here’s what you do: On-Site Inspections: Conduct regular walkdowns with field engineers, contractors, and other team members. Inspect architectural work, identify issues, and verify compliance. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that architectural elements adhere to safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Communication Hub: Facilitate communication during walkdowns. Document findings, address concerns, and collaborate on solutions. Reviewing Reasons for Missed Dates and Cost Logs: This duty involves analyzing project performance Schedule Delays: Investigate reasons behind missed milestones Cost Analysis: Regularly review cost logs related to architectural work. Understand cost trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage the budget effectively. Weekly Progress-Inspections, and Quality Checks:monitoring progress and ensuring quality Progress Tracking: Document weekly progress related to architectural tasks. Highlight achievements, challenges, and areas needing attention. Inspections: Perform quality checks on architectural components. Verify materials, finishes, and workmanship against specifications. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain high standards throughout the project.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related major. In Lieu of the requirements listed above, employer will accept: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related major, and 3 years of work experience in construction management occupation.
