Job Title: Construction Manager
Job Description

Our Executive Team is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee new substation builds, particularly during the early phases, ensuring projects start on scope and schedule. This role focuses on the foundation and civil aspects of multiple projects across a nine-state area. The Construction Manager will coordinate daily work activities of both internal work crews and subcontractor crews.

ResponsibilitiesOversee foundation and civil aspects of substation construction projects.Coordinate daily work activities of work crews and subcontractor crews.Ensure substation projects start on scope and schedule.Manage substation foundation oversight and construction inspection.Handle project management tasks including change orders and coordination of field crews.Essential SkillsExtensive experience in construction, civil, and foundation construction.Expertise in substation construction and substation construction management.Strong skills in substation foundation oversight.Proficiency in project management, including change orders and construction inspection.Effective field coordination skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong emphasis on substation foundations.Preference for candidates who are comfortable working in the field rather than behind a desk.Work Environment

This role involves traveling throughout a nine-state area for new substation builds. It offers a per diem of $125 per day, with an average work schedule ranging from 5 to 10 days. The position includes the use of a company work truck. There is an opportunity for direct hire by the company, providing a chance to support the Executive Team directly and make an impact on key projects.
