Construction Manager
Job Description: We are in search of an exceptional Solar Construction Manager with a minimum of 5 years of proven expertise in commercial construction management. Responsibilities: + Review estimator proposals for accuracy + Review construction drawings for constructability, planning, and forecasting + Monitor jobs daily + Oversee construction efforts to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule + Organize job schedules + Purchase and track materials as needed for continuous operations of the project + Order on-site testing from engineering services per project demands + Schedule meetings with clients and subcontractors + Enforce company policy and standards + Ensure timesheets are filled out daily and correctly + Manage construction schedule for projects and employees + Monitor and secure materials on jobs daily + Oversee that rough and final inspections are called in and passed + Negotiate and purchase large orders + Secure long lead time items to ensure delivery so jobs and workflows are not interrupted + Ensure all crews have the equipment necessary to complete jobs daily + Schedule and coordinate cranes and material deliveries Qualificaitions: + Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management + Experience in solar construction + Proficiency in Autodesk + Knowledge of project management + Experience in solar installation + Understanding of electrical systems + Strong construction management skills + Commitment to safety + Ability to manage schedules + Experience with proposals, budgeting, and materials management + High school degree or equivalent preferred + Experience managing multiple projects at once Employer value: Projects range from 60KW to 2MW in size. This is a full-time onsite position. Employees must work in a safe and professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, State, and Federal regulations.
