Job Title: Construction Manager
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to take charge of planning, budgeting, and managing construction projects. This role includes preparing budgets and cost estimates, creating work schedules, managing contracts, and ensuring stringent quality control. The ideal candidate will have a history in construction management, site supervision, and project management, particularly within the retail and restaurant industries.
Responsibilities:
+ Develop comprehensive budgets, cost estimates, and work schedules.
+ Manage contracts and negotiate changes with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
+ Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and the construction firm.
+ Interpret and explain technical information and contracts to other professionals.
+ Develop and implement effective quality control programs.
Essential Skills:
+ Proven experience in construction management and site supervision.
+ Proficiency in project management.
+ Familiarity with construction fit-outs and renovations in retail and restaurant settings.
+ Excellent communication skills for interpreting and explaining technical information.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ Experience with interior fit-outs and restaurant renovations.
+ Knowledge of real estate processes, including buying out strip malls and renting out spaces.
+ Ability to manage fast-paced projects and quick turnarounds.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Software (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc.).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $46.00
