Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in construction management, architecture, or engineering, business administration, public administration, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience in the facilities and/or energy management field is required. Experience above the four (4) year requirement may be substituted for years of educational experience on a one-for-one basis. Experience in public works construction, especially California K-12 public school construction, is preferred. Licenses and Certifications Possession of a valid California driver’s license and proof of insurance are required.
