Construction Office Engineer Ft.Meade
Job Title: Construction Office Engineer Job Description We are seeking a degreed site engineer with 3-5 years of experience in design or construction to work at a government installation. The successful candidate will assist in preparing project budgets, cost estimating, scheduling, and managing project documents, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals. This role involves interaction with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to facilitate work completion and resolve issues. Coordination with field personnel to ensure timely and accurate collection of project data, such as field reports and inspection records, is also essential. Responsibilities + Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and schedules. + Manage and track project documents, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals. + Interact with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success and resolve issues. + Coordinate with field personnel for timely and accurate data collection, including field reports and inspection records. Essential Skills + 3-5 years of engineering experience in design or construction. + Proficiency in AutoCAD. + Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction practices, and project management. + Experience with RFIs, change orders, and shop drawings. + Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering. + Ability to obtain a security clearance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with project scheduling, cost control, and document management systems is a plus. + Candidates must be willing to submit to a federal drug screen and work history check. + Candidates must be US citizens as per client contracts. Work Environment This position is based on-site at Fort Meade, working in an office environment five days a week.
