Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a Construction Operations Manager to support our team at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.  

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for oversight of over-arching mission deliverables for construction operations, including the quality, accuracy, efficiency and successful completion of the deliverable.
• This includes being responsible for the safety of the work and ensuring it is done in compliance with Laboratory policies and other regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for the organization of operations in the areas of construction, field controls and Contracts Administration.
• Ensures the proper coordination of the various groups within the Construction project and ensures that they are properly staffed.
• Provides timely group support services to assist the various construction projects.
• Ensures consistent application of construction engineering standards and practices between jobs.
• Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring documentation is adequate and developing when it is not, installing and improving processes, managing budgets, providing oversight for other workers and subcontractors, and effectively communicating with stakeholders and customers, and ultimately being responsible for the end-to-end success of the set of deliverables.
• Must have 15 or more years’ experience in the construction field & 10 years of experience supporting the DOE mission.
• Must have documented leadership experience.
• Must have experience supporting DOE Construction.
• Must have experience relationship building, problem solving, excellent communication skills.
• Highly prefer experience supporting DOE Plutonium Facility construction activities.

Minimum Requirements

• A recognized bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Post graduate course work may be expected & professional certifications may be expected.

• Must have 15 or more years’ experience in the construction field & 10 years of experience supporting the DOE mission.
• Must have documented leadership experience.
• Must have experience supporting DOE Construction.
• Must have experience relationship building, problem solving, excellent communication skills.
• Highly prefer experience supporting DOE Plutonium Facility construction activities.
