Construction Payroll Analyst
Description Our reputable client is hiring a Payroll Analyst to join their team on a contract to permanent basis. They are looking to get the qualified candidate started ASAP for their fully onsite position. This company comes with great, family-oriented culture. Responsibilities: + Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate calculation of earnings, taxes, deductions, and benefits. + Administer union calculations and payments, ensuring compliance with union agreements and standards. + Utilize Sage300 to process payroll, generate reports, and maintain accurate records. + Resolve payroll discrepancies promptly and provide accurate payroll information upon request. + Collaborate with the HR department to ensure all new hires, terminations, and employee changes are processed correctly. + Prepare and submit accounting transactions, statements, and other financial reports as necessary. + Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field. + Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, preferably in the construction industry. + Proficient in Sage300. + Deep understanding of union payroll processes and requirements. + Excellent mathematical and numerical skills. + Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Strong organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills. + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. + Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
