**Plumber** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both commercial and residential plumbing. This role involves installing new services on new houses, inspecting structures, and ensuring the proper installation of plumbing systems. **Responsibilities** + Install new services on new houses. + Locate and mark the position of pipes and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors using a ruler, spirit level, and plumb bob. + Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings using hand tools and power tools. + Cut and thread pipes using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine. + Install plumbing finishing and equipment as per plans. + Study building plans and working drawings to determine the work required and sequence of installations. + Inspect structures to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of the structure resulting from the installation of pipes. + Calculate material take-off and order materials as needed. + Solder 2 1/2"+ pipes. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Malibu, California. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
