Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to shift personnel to meet production requirements, manage inventory and production levels, and ensure the enforcement of company policies and procedures. This role involves working Thursday to Saturday from 5pm to 5:30am, with one Sunday shift per month.

ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and direction to shift personnel to meet production requirements.Review inventory and production levels to make recommendations and adjustments for efficiency.Fill in for other Maintenance Production Supervisors when required.Enforce and apply company policies and procedures uniformly.Provide honest, objective, and specific feedback to crew leaders and production team members.Serve as a facilitator to maintain group focus and provide necessary resources.Ensure compliance with published processing specifications (SOPs) and quality control tests.Monitor defect and downtime causes and provide feedback to Value Stream Managers.Maintain and enhance a safe work environment for all employees, visitors, and contractors.Complete incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.Lead and conduct EH&S Awareness and Authorized Safety Trainings as scheduled.Utilize lean manufacturing tools to identify and drive continuous improvement.Coordinate information dissemination for the production team with other functional groups.Partner with the shift maintenance team to prioritize urgent production equipment repairs.Essential SkillsSupervision in a manufacturing environmentExperience with packaging machineryProduction maintenance supervisionPreventive maintenanceMaintenance managementAdditional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's Degree in maintenance, manufacturing, or business-related fields.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with leadership or supervisory roles.Preferred: 5+ years of manufacturing experience with various leadership positions.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing setting with a Class 1, Division 1 rating, which can be dirty and dusty with potential dust explosions. The role may require climbing 70 feet silos. The facility is tobacco-free.
