Construction Project Analyst

The Construction Project Analyst will plan, track, and evaluate mid-level construction, planning, and design projects including scope, schedule, and budget within the Medxcel framework for Medxcel throughout the assigned working location of Home Office - TX. This position will work with leadership and key stakeholders to develop project and communication plans to drive completion of assigned initiatives. The project analyst will be responsible for assessing the change impact on the customer, leadership, and Medxcel associates. The project analyst will also integrate strategies for change management into the project plan. Key responsibilities of the position are summarized below subject to other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Assemble data for planning, prioritizing, validating, and decision making related to business development and facilities management initiatives. Serves as a liaison with project management reporting on inspections, subcontracting, progress, and delays. Create and manage timelines and processes for projects in the form of a project plan. Track all task completions associated with projects including cross-functional departments. Coordinate with various hospital and Medxcel departments on resource needs. Manage relationships with outside vendors to effectively drive accountability and compliance within scope of assigned projects. Build and drive communication plans to keep key stakeholders and project participants up to date. Facilitate project meetings as needed including agenda and meeting minutes. Assess the change impact, create a change management strategy, and integrate into project plans. Identify and manage potential program impediments. Track and report issues and successes. Maintain all project information files so they are up to date and secure. Continue to develop forms and records to document project activities for all stakeholders. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Experience: Demonstrated Experience with MS Office Suite, Visio, and web technologies required. 1 year of experience coordinating/leading small to medium facilities/construction/design projects required. Competencies: Problem solving — identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Planning/organizing —prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans. Ability to Adapt –adapt quickly to changes in scope or direction and be flexible to adopting changes quickly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization, on the topics of technology, tools, and processes. Ability to deal effectively with diverse roles, backgrounds, and expectations. Project management skills including coordination, communication, organization, budget adherence, goal tracking, prioritization, troubleshooting and problem-solving.
