Summary

University Mechanical is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to perform the jobsite administrative duties and functions for projects in various markets including Semiconductor, Data Center Markets, Healthcare, Higher Education, Data Center, Manufacturing, and a wide range of other markets. The position requires at least 2-3 years of administrative experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining project documentation including contract documents, subcontract documents, purchase orders, insurance certificates, safety training records, safety inspection reports, correspondence, and other project documentation. Receive, and distribute mail and prepare packages for shipping Accurately maintain various project logs and spreadsheets Various other administrative duties and functions that may be assigned

Position Requirements

Must have a minimum of 2-3 years administrative experience, preferably in construction; Basic knowledge of Safety, Accounting, Purchasing, Subcontracts, Project Start up & Close-out, Contract, Submittals, Pre-Planning, Scheduling, Project Evaluations, Project Changes, and Operating Procedures; Must have demonstrated knowledge and work experience showing the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily Proficiency using Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to Microsoft (Excel, Word, Project, Access, & Powerpoint), Bluebeam Revu PDF editing, and Vista-Viewpoint (Project Management & Accounting Software);

Must comply with all operating policies, procedures, plans, and programs. Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customers, employees, unions, government agencies, vendors and suppliers, and other contractor organizations.
