Pay: $70,000-75,000 per year About the Position As the Construction Project Coordinator, you will support the coordination and execution of Goodwin living’s capital projects, working closely with Managing Director of Construction and the Facilities Management team. This role is designed to provide a foundation for growth into a Project Manager or Construction Project Manager position. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience in managing construction projects, design, space planning, and project coordination. Key Duties + Assist in managing internal resources and third-party contractors/vendors to ensure the successful execution of projects. + Contribute to space planning initiatives and design work, assisting with AutoCAD or Sketch-Up as necessary for project documentation and drawings. + Support the design process by working with architects and designers, ensuring projects meet aesthetic and functional requirements. + Secure bids from external contractors for proposed work, ensuring proposals meet project requirements. + Assist in the development and management of project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and projects stay on schedule. + Serve as a liaison between various stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration. Job Requirements + Proficiency or willingness to learn AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, or other relevant design software. + Strong interest and experience in space planning, with the ability to assist in creating functional and effective layouts. + Proven ability to coordinate tasks and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. + A keen interest in design is essential, as many of the projects will involve design work. + Willingness to work toward Project Management or Construction Project Manager certification and responsibilities over time.
