Job Description
Specializing in both new construction and interior renovations, including embassies, multi-family, commercial, and interior fit-outs, this role involves oversight of the estimating or preconstruction process for assigned projects. You will assist in establishing and maintaining standardized procedures, methods, and processes for estimating, and train estimating personnel in their use. Additionally, you will maintain relationships with subcontractors.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain relationships with subcontractors.Work with executives to determine the suitability of potential projects using a bid matrix and document review.Review scopes prepared by other team members.Assist with handover meetings on all successful projects to ensure the operation team understands the estimate preparation.Essential SkillsConstruction managementExperience with renovationsChange orders, submittals, and RFIsStrong communication skills for interacting with subcontractorsProficiency with MS Office Programs and Building Connected Pro SoftwareCommercial construction experienceAdditional Skills & Qualifications2-4 years of experience in a similar roleExperience in creating and distributing scopes of workExperience in conducting handover meetingsCapability to maintain an estimating scheduleWork Environment
The work environment is deadline-oriented, requiring a high level of ownership for errors. The office and on-site culture emphasizes collaboration and teamwork, with everyone working closely together to ensure high-quality work is delivered efficiently. The role requires presence both on-site and in-office as needed. Benefits include 2 weeks of PTO and medical/dental coverage.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
