Construction Project Engineer
Job Title: Construction Project Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves managing various aspects of construction projects, coordinating with the preconstruction team, and ensuring project schedules and submittals are adhered to. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction and project management. Responsibilities + Manage and oversee all aspects of project schedules. + Handle the submittal approval process efficiently. + Coordinate the delivery of materials to the construction site. + Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensure timely resolution. + Handle and process change orders as needed. + Support the preconstruction team in planning and executing projects. + Oversee project administration, coordination, and close-out procedures. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field. + At least 2 years of experience within a General Contractor in commercial construction. + Experience with RFIs, submittals, and project close-out procedures. + Proficiency in Procore for project management. + Strong skills in project scheduling. + Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with change order management. + Proficiency in Bluebeam and MS Office Suite. + 1-4 years of commercial construction experience (General Contractor experience preferred). Work Environment This position is based onsite at a project in Roseburg, OR, involving a $17 million healthcare expansion and retrofit. The role includes working with various technologies such as Procore and Bluebeam.
