Construction Project Estimator
Job Title: Construction Project Estimator Job Description As a Construction Project Estimator, you will be responsible for understanding construction drawings and creating formal bid packages. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of various construction materials, methods, and pricing changes. You will work closely with project managers, superintendents, project engineers, and labor teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids. Responsibilities + Analyze and interpret construction drawings and specifications. + Prepare detailed and accurate bid packages. + Evaluate and understand various construction materials and methods. + Monitor and incorporate pricing changes into estimates. + Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, project engineers, and labor teams. + Ensure timely submission of bid packages, occasionally working beyond standard hours to meet deadlines. Essential Skills + Proven experience as a Construction Project Estimator or similar role. + Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications. + Excellent knowledge of construction materials, methods, and pricing. + Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. + Proficient in relevant software and tools. + Strong communication and teamwork skills. + Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with estimating software. Work Environment Primarily office-based with minimal travel required. Standard 40-hour work week, with occasional extended hours to meet urgent deadlines. #MO2025 Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
