Have you managed renovations, and new construction projects up to $250,000 in value? Are you a CONSTRUCTION Project Management Professional with excellent organizational and C-Suite presentation skills as your strong suits? IF YES, then Sodexo has an opportunity for a Construction Project Manager 1 at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. Our successful candidate will be highly credentialed and be someone who can be mentored. This role will lead planning and overseeing the design and construction and renovation of annual deferred maintenance projects and new construction including bidding, execution and closeout of the project scope. Accurate and fast follow up to our client's requests are critical to success in the role. We are looking for a long-term employee eager to grow their career with us.

What You'll Do Develop project schedules and execution details according to plan Develop scope of work and communicate complex projects to our client partners Higher priorities include roofing and HVAC related work and student focused projectsExperience ensuring project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements and Sodexo standards 

Assist with Capital Improvement projects including residential priorities and a new and renovated science project

Exercise strong negotiation skills, prepare subcontracts, ensure subcontractors and describe the expectations of the projects to our clientAct as primary onsite project leader to develop cost estimates and sub-contractor scope documents and solicitations for bids What We Offer

What You Bring

 

Experience in interior design and furnishing selections Strong design experience and AutoCAD - Revit expertise is preferredBachelor's degree in construction management, Design or Engineering  Experience Budgeting, Estimating and Scheduling Construction Projects Strong ability to earn our client partner's trust and follow up upon completion of projects Have experience developing scope of work and communicating complex projects to our client partners to achieve excellent customer satisfactionProactive management of the comprehensive deferred maintenance program including gathering, prioritizing and managing building needs and deficiencies Who We Are

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
