Role Overview
Join Colt Data Centre Services (DCS) in a pivotal role as a Project Manager within the DCS Delivery Team. Your mission is to lead the successful execution of construction and infrastructure projects in London, we have a multi Billion £ commitment to developing new sites over the next 5-8 years.

The Team
As a Project Manager in the DCS Delivery Team, you'll be an essential part of a dynamic, agile, and forward-thinking group. This team plays a crucial role in Colt DCS's mission to provide unparalleled hyperscale data centres. You will collaborate closely with peers within DCS Real Estate Team this includes but not limited to Procurement & Commercial Teams, Engineering, Commissioning, Centre of excellence, PMO Team, Sales and Operations, contributing to the overall success and growth of the business.
Outcomes
• Manage a portfolio of capital expansion and new build projects in London, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
• Mitigate project and business risks, providing leadership to internal and external project teams.
• Oversee day-to-day project management, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Administer contracts, drive the Change management process, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Produce high-quality reports, manage project-related meetings, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Lead the procurement stages, ensuring General Contractors deliver as per agreed program and scope.
• Monitor construction quality, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

• The Wider Real Estate Team, Cost Management & Commercial Teams, DCS Procurement team, DCS Design & Engineering teams, DCS sales + marketing, DCS Operations. DCS SMT team
• External – Design consultants, Cost management consultants, Main Contractors, suppliers and client representatives.
Role Specific Requirements
• Proven experience in construction projects, preferably within the data centre industry.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation, international best practices, and construction techniques.
• Technical expertise in construction, knowledge of mechanical and electrical services, controls (BMS), and security installations.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage scope, cost, program, quality, and risks effectively.
• Experience in managing collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams and procurement processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:
• Planning, coordinating and executing construction projects, taking ownership and accountability for milestones, managing commercial dependencies and risks and ensuring team members are well coordinated towards successful project delivery.
• Providing technical and operational leadership to guide internal teams, business partners and customers
• Participating in detailed vendor assessments and comparisons, ensuring stakeholders contribute to effective outcomes
• Executing on the project delivery strategy through all stages, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality assurance
• Reviewing and maintaining schedules and budget tracking documents, completing timely reporting, identifying challenges and assigning ownership, proposing and designing solutions ensuring delivery on time and in budget
• Providing expert procurement advice and support, identifying innovative procurement solutions that optimize cost, drive velocity and reduce critical path activities in support of organizational charters and missions.
• Responsibility for external-facing relationship management with stakeholders including customers, end-users, consultants, contractors, suppliers etc.
